ThirdEye Meets with the National Federation of the Blind

The ThirdEye team recently got to meet up with the National Federation of the Blind. It was a great opportunity for us to get to know people from an organization we hope to work with more in the future. We got to test ThirdEye as well on some of the individuals there, and saw what we needed to improve on.

Here are a few of our key takeaways:

1. Partnerships are key
2. There’s nothing like getting user testing and getting instant feedback
3. Applying technology to healthcare is an exciting space to be in

We really look forward to using the insights we gathered from our trip in further improving ThirdEye, and making it even more effective in helping visually impaired individuals.

We’re currently exploring improving our text-recognition software, and making the user experience of our application more intuitive. Furthermore, we’re currently working on building a long-term partnership with the National Federation of the Blind. It’s definitely an exciting time for ThirdEye.
